'Go Green Grow Green'

The Kindergarten Section of Lourdes Central School organised 'Go Green Grow Green' project for the month of July 2009. Children were guided how to take care of trees and how they are useful. To justify the theme of the project 'Go Green Grow Green' different competitions were held for KG1 and KG2 on 25th July 2009 on colouring scenery.
We came to the end of the month-long project with a grand finale on the 30th July 2009. The programme started with a beautiful prayer song. Children were awarded with certificate and colouring books. The tiny tots were in for a big surprise. Principal Ms Grace Noronha and Vice Principal Ms Joy Rai distributed small plants to all the tiny tots of KG2 and they also addressed the children and highlighted on the importance of trees.
The programme concluded with melodious songs on nature and plants.
