LCS DAY OUT – CLASS 3

‘A picnic is a state of mind and can be made any where’

On December 16, 2017 students of class 3 along with the teachers went on a picnic to Pilikula. The journey began with a short prayer at 8.30 am and we reached Pilikula Heritage Village around 9 .00 am.

Students witnessed various techniques of making beaten rice, pots, weaving of cloth, preparation of cane chairs etc.Then we proceeded to Pilikula Zoo. The students enjoyed watching animals, birds and reptiles. They also learnt values like sharing and caring. The students had their lunch in the park and after relaxing the group headed back to school at 3.00 pm.

A special thanks to the Management and the Principal for organizing an outing for the staff and students of class 3.
