Staff Enrichment Programme

The academic year   2017-18 for the teachers commenced on 25th May 2017.The  Principal  Rev. Fr . Robert D’Souza welcomed the teachers and introduced eight new staff members. In his address, he emphasized the purpose of being here to educate the children through values, effective planning and passion for teaching.

In the key note address our Manager  Rev. Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza said that ‘An ordinary teacher enters the class , a good teacher enters the mind and an excellent teacher enters the heart of the child.’ The main objective or mission and vision of CBE is make a student a good citizen, make the student fit and smart. Fr Manager also emphasised  the Irish proverb – ‘Each child has a definite song to sing , a story to tell and a smile to give’ which meant that we as teachers should understand them and be careful enough while handling them.

The second session was a detailed explanation of rules and regulations  from the school diary by the Principal and Vice Principal.

The discipline incharge teacher Ms Anita Thomas briefed us on  code of conduct for students.  The Principal added that teachers should maintain the sanctity of the staff room and treat all the children equally, associate and have lunch  with the children in the classroom. He  also stressed on teachers being punctual to school and to the classroom.
