Lourdes Central School Management, staff and PTEC members gathered together to celebrate Christmas in the school auditorium on 23rd December at 11:30 am.
The programme commenced with a prayer song lead by the staff members.
Principal Rev Fr Robert D’Souza welcomed the gathering in a hilarious way. Principal also said that the main intention of today’s programme was to thank the Lourdite family during this joyous season. Fr Principal also delivered his Christmas message saying that Christmas was an invitation to be beam of light to the society like Jesus was during His time.
Mr Ivan Mascarenhas and group, the carolers, lit the spirit of Christmas by singing melodious carols.
Vice president of Parish pastoral Parishad also delivered his message by saying, LCS should shine all over the world by being tender and kind.
Mr. Ivan Mascarenhas conducted an alphabet housie wherein the whole Lourdite family participated wholeheartedly.
Rev Fr Wilson Vitus D’souza, Manager LCS in his presidential address wished the Lourdite Family all the happiness for Christmas and New Year.
As the token of love, the whole of Lourdite family received gifts from Father Manager and Father Principal.
Rev Fr Stany Pinto, Rev Fr Paul Crasta Assistant Priest Bijai Parish, Dr Preethi Ballal Vice president PTEC, Mrs Charolette Patrao , Mrs Adeline Management committee members were present during the programme.
Mrs Lydia D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks
Mrs Francisca Mendes compered the programme.
