Jyothi Pradhan Ceremony 2016

‘Every ending has a new beginning’
Reminiscence prevailed in the campus of Lourdes Central School as the ‘Jyothi Pradhan Ceremony’ was arranged in honour of the outgoing students of class X and class XII on February 2, 2016.
The programme began with a melodious prayer song sung by the choir group. Ms Sharmila colaco welcomed the gathering.
Rev. Fr. Wilson Vitus D’Souza , Manager, Lourdes central school ,Principal Fr. Robert D’Souza, Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas, Ms Violet D’Souza , Senior Secondary Co-Ordinator, Fr Stany Pinto assistant Parish priest and class teachers of class X and XII lit the lamp symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, peace love and success.
Vice principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas administered the pledge.
Principal Fr. Robert D’Souza advised the outgoing students to be ideal in their actions and to believe in themselves.. He also advised them not to stop learning because life never stops teaching.
Meghana Rao of class X and Shashank of classXII shared their nostalgic experiences and memories.
The teachers illuminated the candles and lit the lamp of the outgoing students. To revive Nostalgic moments a power point presentation was organized by the teachers that threw fun and added life to the programme and revived their memories.
Rev Fr. Wilson Vitus D’Souza , manager of LCS enlightened the students with his words of wisdom.
The outgoing students were presented with mementoes asa remembrance of school life.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Gavin Abner.
The function Wound up in a lighter note with the conferring of customized titles to our outgoing students.
