LCS CLUB REPORT ~ 30-07-2016
Music Club:
Students practiced prayer song “Walking with the Lord” for music club assembly.
Dance Club:
Students were trained steps for ‘Balam Pichkari song’.
Maths Club:
Students solved problems on linear equations, number system and geometry.
Class 10 students were introduced to ‘Temple Geometry’-hub of geometry problems.
Heritage Club:
Students presented their activity in collage work on culture, monuments, industries. Teacher briefed about activity for next session.
Scouts:
Scout master taught Reef Knot and Sheet Bend.
Eastern Singing Club:
Students sang ‘Mere Vatan Ke Logo’ and ‘Takat Ke Ham Se He”.
Sports Club:
Students played Chess under the guidance of Chess Master Veerendra Alva.
Art Club:
Students drew forest scenery and landscape on ivory sheets.
Art master discussed about colour variations.
Readers Club:
Students learnt many new words.
Activity conducted was to find missing letters.
Guides:
Students were taught fisherman knot.
Theatre Club:
Dumsharades was practiced to enhance theatrical skills.
Eco Club:
On account of International Tigers Day(29th July 2016) students prepared Tiger Masks with paper plates.
Students watched informative videos on Tigers.
Numismatics:
Coins used during Tippu’s Era and East India Company were brought by club member Luke and discussion conducted.
Astronomy Club:
Prof. Jayanth retired Professor from St Agnes College gave a talk on Astronomy.
He is also the Secretary of Astronomy Association of Mangalore.
Band Club:
Band Club members practiced under the guidance of Band Master Vishwanath Devadiga.
