Parent Teacher Interactive session 2016

REPORT ON INTERACTIVE SESSION OF CLASS I

The Principal Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza , Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas Coordinator Ms. Apoline Lobo, class teachers along with a few subject teachers Were present. The session started with the prayer song Ms. Pamela Miranda welcomed the gathering. Ms. Sowmya gave a talk on academics. Ma’am Apoline gave a PPT presentation which highlighted the student activities in school. The Session was open to parents to ask any queries on academics. 

Later the PTA member was elected for every section.

REPORT ON INTERACTIVE SESSION OF CLASS II

The interactive session commenced at 9.30 am with a prayer song.

Principal Rev. Fr Robert D’Souza, vice Principal Ms. Belita Mascarnhas coordinator Ms Apoline and class teachers along with few subject teachers were present.

Ma’am Deepika welcomed the gathering. Ma’am Francisca gave a talk on academics. Later the P T A member was elected for every section. The session was open to parents to ask any queries on academics. Parents spoke on projects and kannada text book.

The principal spoke on the Do’s and Don’ts and gave some suggestions how to overcome traffic problems in school campus.

Ma’am Deepthi gave a vote of thanks and the session ended at 10:30 am.

REPORT ON INTERACTIVE SESSION OF CLASS III
Date:9th June 2016
Time:11:25am
Venue:AV Room, Lourdes Central School Bijai.
The most overwhelming key to child’s success is the positive involvement of the parents and school. Keeping this in mind Lourdes Central School organized an interactive session for the parents of third standard on 9th June 2016. The session was aimed at acquainting the parents with the school curriculum, teaching methodology as well as general policies of the school. The meeting started with the prayer. Ma’am Joshma welcomed the gathering. Ma’am Seema briefed about academics .Further there was an open discussion about academics. Our principal Rev. Fr. Robert D’souza briefed how to develop our students into good citizens and by small practices of saving water, electricity ,to use public transport through this to encourage the child to save the nature. The need to instill high moral values among children by parents was the focus of interaction. Further PTEC members were selected by primary section coordinator Ms.Apoline.The session was ended with vote of thanks by Ms.Shiny.

REPORT ON INTERACTIVE SESSION OF CLASS IV
10.06.2016

The inter-active session of class 4A parents commenced at 8.30 am with a soothing prayer song “Change my heart- o Lord. Principal Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza presided over the meeting. The AV room was packed with the class 4 ABCD parents and Ma’am Joyce compered the session and welcomed the gathering. After the introduction of the primary staff members, Ma’am Shanthi briefed the parents on academics through a PPT,soon after which the parents’ queries were answered by the Principal, Vice Principal Ms. Belita Mascarenhas and the Co-ordinator Ms.Apoline. Father Principal addressed the parents and put forth with some rules and regulations to be followed at LCS and also stressed on carpooling for the smooth functioning of transportation at the entrance of LCS gate. later Ma’am Lolita conducted the election of parent representative and thanked the parents for attending the inter- active session in large numbers.

REPORT ON INTERACTIVE SESSION OF CLASS V

Parenting is the easiest thing in the world to have an opinion about, but the hardest thing in the world to do”.

The Principal Rev Fr Robert D’ Souza Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarnehas, Coordinator Ms Apoline Lobo and the class teachers were present. The session began with a prayer song. Ms Suneetha welcomed the gathering Ms Tresa briefed on academics. The session was open to parents for the queries and suggestions for the betterment of the school. One of the parent expressed that this session was too early and suggested to have two sessions for two terms .Later PTEC members were elected for the academic year 2016-17.Principal Rev. Fr.Robert D Souza’s guidance to the parents was praiseworthy. He said “Give God to your children and God will give everything to them.” The session was ended with the vote of thanks by Ms Jyothi.

REPORT ON INTERACTIVE SESSION OF CLASS X
The first Interactive Session for the parents of class IX was held on 8th June 2016 at 8:30 am in the Audio Visual Room.
Fr. Principal, Vice-Principal, Parents and Teachers teaching Class X were present.
The session commenced by invoking God’s blessings through an Audio Hymn.
Ma’am Dilla Colaco welcomed the August gathering.
Coordinators Ms Deepa (English), Mr Henry (Hindi), Ms Jayashree (Math), MsLinet (Science), Ms Vidhya (Soc. Sc) briefed parents on the 4 Formative Assessments and the tools conducted.
Principal and Vice-Principal clarified doubts to the queries of the parents.
Our Principal Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza in his inaugural address proudly announced that our school had secured 100% results in both class X and XII in the academic year 2015-’16.
He thanked the parents for their constant support and for speaking high about the school. He also mentioned that our school is strengthened with good and experienced faculty, imparting quality education.
Fr. Principal gave a few insights, as to how students can reach their highest potential in the classroom.
1. Stressed the importance of parental involvement in their studies.

2. To practice discipline and respect at home. Discipline is something that needs to be reinforced foremost in the home.

3. To refrain from using laptops/computers late at night, curtail their pocket money.

4. A personal mobile should never be given, if required students can use parent’s mobile.

5. Over and over again, reiterated the importance of parents being role model.

6. To clear doubts with the subject teachers

7. Mondays are exclusively kept aside for parents to meet teachers.

Fr. Principal in his address also requested parents to carry ID cards when entering the school Premises. Since there is a big rush in the mornings Fr. Principal suggested Car Pooling. Students could be picked up from the same vicinity and avoid traffic congestion, help protect environment / less pollution at the school gate. He also reiterated the message- ‘To give God to your child’. To read the scriptures from the Holy Books.
Fr. Principal assured parents that their wards were in safe hands and quality education would be imparted to them and also thanked each one them for their support.

Interactive Session concluded at 9:30 am.

Ma’am Kavyashree welcomed the August gathering.

Vice-principal Mrs. Belita Mascarenhas apprised Parents on CCE, FA and marking scheme for Board Examination through a Power point Presentation.

Ma’am Vidhya, Linet, Shamitha and Henry Sir briefed parents on the 4 Formative Assessments and the tools conducted.

Later Principal and Vice-Principal clarified doubts to the queries of the parents.

REPORT ON INTERACTIVE SESSION OF CLASS VIII

To enhance the collaborative efforts of the teachers and parents , interactive session was held on 8-6-2016 for class 8 in the Audio visual room of Lourdes central school. Parents participated enthusiastically and shared their views.

Ms Lavina Serrao compared and welcomed the gathering. Ms Harshitha shetty explained the three tools and activities of Formative Assessments.

Ms. Suchetha Monteiro school counselor presented a power point presentation on “ Stress Management in Adolescence”.

Rev Father  Robert D’Souza , Principal Lourdes Central School congratulated the teachers for securing 100 percent results in class 10th  and class 12th. In his address he requested the parents to save fuel and water for the future generation. He also advised them to keep an eye on all the activities of their children. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms Rekha Naveen.
