Career Guidance Orientation Programme
On 28th June 2017 a career guidance session was held to guide students related to career pertaining to commerce. The event was organised by the teachers of commerce department of LCS under the guidance of the Principal Rev.Fr. Robert D’souza, who arranged for resource persons to brief the students. The guests were CA Kiran Vasanth, CA Jason Castlino, Ms. Deepika Vasani and Mr. Deviprasad. Gavin Abner Pinto introduced the guests to the students of class XI and XII Commerce.
The students were enlightened on the various career options available in the field of commerce, like CS, CA etc. Since the curriculum of Chartered Accountancy is undergoing changes for the coming years. The guests briefed the students about the curriculum to complete CA and on the limited time frame available to opt CPT rather than foundation courses. The session was based on the importance of commerce and various aspects/ activities involved in the subject. It was a very useful session for the students.
The session concluded with Meghna Rao thanking the guests for spending their valuable time.
